TAB NZ is proud to announce a new brand name for distributing class 4 gaming grants, highlighting its ongoing support of racing & grassroots sports in New Zealand.

On top of significant funding through its betting activities, TAB NZ has been able to return over $34 million to sporting communities in the 13 years of its class 4 gaming licence. Funding has enhanced conditions for local clubs, provided new equipment, ensured transportation, and invested in a future where grassroots sports create opportunities and bring people together.

The new brand, the Bobby Foundation, is distinctively Kiwi says TAB NZ CEO Nick Roberts.

“Bobby was the nickname given to Phar Lap, one of New Zealand’s greatest champions. Humble, courageous, with a big heart, a true Kiwi legend! The Bobby Foundation will honour Bobby as a foundation that supports all sporting legends, past, present and future,” Mr Roberts says.

“What makes the Bobby Foundation unique from other gaming organisations, is that 100% of its funding goes exclusively to domestic racing and grassroots sports, providing the necessary financial support and resources to create a thriving culture that benefits everyone in New Zealand.”
